We’re back to an in-person bioblitz! A bioblitz is an exciting search for everything living in one area. It happens on Tuesday, June 14 from 6:00-7:30 PM at Yorkson Community Park, 20591 84th Ave. Discover the diversity of life in this green space as we spread out and investigate along trails, stream and pond. Tools and ID guides provided. Drop-in for all ages. You can also participate virtually. The watershed groups of Langley are looking for all the different plants, animals, fungus and everything in between from June 4-19. People in Langley can participate by taking a walk around their community and taking pictures of the wild living things they see. Using iNaturalist.org, upload your photos and join the Langley Watershed Bioblitz project to have your finds included in the biodiversity count. For information on either the in-person or virtual bioblitz, contact stewardship@leps.bc.ca.
