It’s our favourite time of year when the salmon make it back to spawn in our beautiful creek!
Volunteers counted 170 wild coho on Nov. 11. in the section of Yorkson Creek from 93rd Ave to 80th Ave. This is the best return we’ve seen on one day!
Unfortunately, a sewage leak was also discovered. All the agencies involved have been notified and we will be keeping an eye on the water quality.
